Hi there,
Been reading the threads here for a while ... lots of great info around.
I've been a Nissan person for almost 40 years with 1600's and a 260z.
These days though it's strictly farm work with a '97 D22.
This old girl has 250+ k's on the clock and I snapped a torsion bar anchor arm along our gravel road yesterday morning on the way to work ... not happy.
My mechanic has been at me for over a year to do something about the shocks. So, to cut a long story short I'm looking to replace the shocks, after replacing the anchor arm, then I'll do the springs and bushes. I'm not after anything for serious off road, those days are behind me at 57, purely farm work, town trips and towing an alpaca float ocassionally. Does anyone here have any recommendations for good general purpose shocks. I was pretty impressed with what I've read about Lovell shocks as a "better than original" replacement.
Thanks for your time fellas.
