Gday all, name is Coby. Long time forum lurker so i decided to register considering i actually purchased a Navara. Thought i'd say gday and also how very useful the search button is on this forum! Found alot of answers to questions i have needed whilst working on my new pride and joy. Plenty of info on hand so no need to post up new threads!

Cheers!!

Krafty: Picked myself up an 06 D40 dual cab with 125XXX on the clock. Snapped it up due to a 60 year old one owner with the log book stamped religiously from brand new by Nissan. Immaculate. Only mod is a DVD player in the dash so far ( But whacking on some Kumho KL78 265/75/16 AT's on Saturday morning, then heading into the 4WD shop two factorys up from work (dangerous place to open a shop up money wise for me haha), for an OEM 2" suspension lift and an Xrox bar then my exhaust bloke is going to fab me up a dump pipe for a 2.5 pipe for a bit less restriction. That's about it as i don't go silly 4WD'ing, just a few basic tracks when camping etc.

Biscuits: Haha thanks mate, after spending about 6 years in the Holden V8 scene and being a regular on a Melbourne based forum / club organiser, you tend to get tired of reading the same thread titles when searching for something eg: "want to put a 3" straight through exhaust on my 3.8L Buick V6 in my VN Commodore for maximum hectic street cred". Owned 2 x 5 litre Commodores and an LS1 ute, but ended up starting to get tired of the Police attention, plus i tend to do a bit of camping here and there and i own dirt bikes, so naturally, a Navara was my choice!

Thanks mate! You sir, have what i would love to have. An LS1 Navara. After i sold my LS1 and got the Navara, during the transition from an LS1 to a TD2.5, i kept trying to imagine what it would be like driving a Navara with a 5.7L in it. Love it!

Thanks all!!! Yeah i'm in the same boat but i sold the factory ARB canopy when i bought it, but i much prefer to tow a trailer with my bike than lug it around in the tray.
