Joined the forum last week just prior to picking up a new STX-550.
Very happy with it. Ton of power. Pulls my 3 horse float comfortably.
Will probably look at bigger / additional fuel tank and perhaps beefing up rear suspension.
Recommendations / suggestions gladly accepted please!

There is a 160L tank available for the D40 from memory. Not sure if it fits your model but cant see why it wouldn't. But hey its Nissan.

Is the rear squatting when the trailer is on ?

Thank you for the welcome Krafty.
My enquuiry is pretty much open slather - it will be my horsefloat tow-wagon so I'm looking to stiffen the rear a bit (it drooped a bit too much for my liking when I attached the float) and our family runabout. We do a few interstate trips (with and without the float) so I would be looking for a bigger fuel tank to avoid frequent fuel stops)

PS Got about 15l / 100km towing 3 horse float on a 800km trip - very happy with that compared to previous Patrol.
Also, dash says 9.6 -9.8 ltrs / 100k driving without float on back. Happy with that too.
