Fuse

Hey guys, my radio has been coming off for about a month now and decided to check it out. In the process i lost complete power, dash lights etc. Checked main fuses etc. Can anyone help further.

It must be the earth Lance, pull the dash out and check.

Top row of fuses on the drivers side are working but the bottom row isn't which contains starter, engine control, fuel pump etc.

its not a earth, the only earth i removed was the radio. I have no power at the ignition

all was fine until you played around with the radio hey ? trace back your tracks and check all areas where you were working . must have knocked out a wire somewhere. also was the main battery disconnected before you started on this ?

Try again!, retrace your steps before the problem started.

Did i read somewhere that the radio earth is connected and therefore the same for the ignition?

Yes and it can cause issues with instruments as well, though Lance's situation is unusual it should be easy to diagnose, like any electrical problem it's simply a process of elimination.
