Ask me about 1968 Bathurst winner and I can tell you a lot.
But trying to read the Navara Workshop manuals with the subject code in the appendix having no description is a pain.
Anyone got any listings of clues?

Welcome aboard.

The official Nissan workshop manuals are designed to be used by dealer mechanics which - as you'll be aware - are not always "seasoned". Sometimes they're quite ... fresh. And then sometimes they're complete newbies.

The service manual is designed to answer DTCs more than anything else (in EC.PDF). There's an index but it's sometimes not so useful if you can't get their word for the part you're thinking of. Like "bloody stupid restriction in the exhaust" is what Nissan call a "Diesel Particulate Filter".

However, throw up a couple of things in here and let's see if we can give you a hand.

that manual can be quite a pain! it does have some good information in some areas though.
i prefer the gregories type manuanls for ease of use. dont believe they have one for navaras though.
