just got back from driving 3 hrs each way into rockhampton to pick up the new what i thought was a heavy duty clutch. But when i checked the part number on line NSK-7704smf there is no indication of it being hevy duty e.g HD in the part number.

is there any other way of telling if it is? As thats what i asked them to order.

i would think HD would be in the part number.

According to the exedy site you want 7704smfhd as you have suggested above to indicate heavy duty. Withoutthe HD is just a standard replacement clutch and flywheel kit by the looks of it

Took the exedy clutch kit back and replaced it with a heavy duty extreme clutch kit.... But.. After putting it all back together the noise was still there. So we've pulled the box back out and ripped it apart but nothing to obvious. So gonna put a bearing kit through it. Hopefully should be it as all the gears look fine with bugger all wear.
