Engle Fridge fluctuating Tempreture

I have a 40 Ltr 40th anaversary engle fridge. I set the temp on 2 degrees and it will stay around that temp for a while then it will go to -13 or +13 degrees for no reason
. This happens on both 12 volt and 240.
Just wondering if any one has had this problem

I'm not familiar with Engels but the first thing I'd be doing is getting a thermometer and testing how accurate the gauge is.

Not that i have had this problem it sounds like a faulty thermostat

Definatly a thermo problem
Try spraying a small amount of crc/wd 40 in behind thermo knob if its a mechanical thermo ?
If its an electronic thermo take it to a service mech
