Hi guys,
I’ve got a 2011 d22 yd25.
When I do a cold start, the engine instantly cuts off and doesn’t allow it to start unless I have the “heat” button on which holds the revs at 1500rpm. If the revs drop below 1000rpm. It cuts off instantly as well.
A couple months before, i only had cold start problems but now it is starting to stall even when the engine temperature is at midway(77degrees). It takes about 5 secs to stall when sitting at lights if the rpm is below 1000.
This normal temperature stalling issue came about when the EGR was cleaned which the service was also done as well as the fuel filter. glow plugs has been changed, crank and cam sensors have been changed
I have read that timing chain and suction control valve are two most common issues and have similar problems like me. but is there anyone else who has the exact same cold start and normal running temperature stalling issues like me?
