It says do it in the service book, but does anyone do it, or does everyone just replace the fuel filter?

I tried to undo the drian plug from up up top, but it's impossibe. I'm guessing we have to get underneath and reach all the way back up?????

TIA.

Done.
The instructions are a bit unclear.
Undo the big white plastic looking nut on the bottom of the fuel filter holder and all the fuel and water just drops out.
I used a set of multigrips to undo and do it back up.

while its good to check for water one problem is that you risk the tap seal leaking and it sucking in air. most people just change the filter.
i would not bother draining water unless your in area where fuel is suspect.

Thanks Tweak'e, I think that's good advice right there and I don't think I'll drain water again unless I know there's a problem.

But I've done it now and used the primer, so at least I won't be doing it for the first time up some track in the outback somewhere.
