Narva 225

Got a set of Narva 225's.

Was a plug and play install. Was very easy even for a first timer! Took me about 2 hours to set everything up from the box to working spotlights connected to high beam wire near the headlight.

Im very impressed with the light. Long range and good spread. Will probably upgrade to HID when i get some extra cash coming through.

Fun dirt/mud session

Went out to one of the local tracks that is a 10 minutes drive from my house.
It was myself and a friend who drives a petrol hilux. had some fun in the water and a couple of hill climbs.

Here is a couple of pictures from the day taken on a GoPro

New wheels and Tyres

Got some new tread and rims to suit yesterday.

Got a set of 16x7 black sunraysia's with 265/75/16 Mickey Thompson ATZ 4 rib.
The grip is amazing. So much better then the stock tyres already.

The noise is unnoticable and it travels well.

Highly recommended.

No lift as of yet.

Saving up now for it. Should be on in about 4-6 weeks.
Looking for either a dobinson or toughdog 2 inch lift once i get the cash.

connect some recovery points to the front and rear
Have to extend the diff breathers. pretty easy to do.
3 inch exhaust
Bars and sliders
Going to get roof racks for it aswell.
Winch with dyneema rope.

Probably a whole lot of other things too that i have forgotton. All in due time when the cash comes through!

love that pic of your new narvas.. looks good with (what I assume is) a low ap, leads your eyes to the new spotties.

Great pic man.

Thanks buddy. yeahh just a quick little focus change and the eyes look straight to the spotties. worked out well!

Just did a DIY Tub Liner.
Got it from Supercheap for $50

Its not the best job in the world, but it sure is a hell of a lot cheaper then getting it professionally done!

Haven't updated this in a long time!

Just got my EGT and Boost gauges. Will install them tomorrow and put some pictures up.

Also ordered a Calmini 3" lift. Should be on within 2 weeks hopefully.

Pretty excited for some new additions.

Gday Dom, good to see the old project back on track, i bet you cant wait for the lift.

Did you have a nipple welded onto the dump pipe so you can connect the EGT gauge?
or are you going to do that your self? or are you just going to wait for the new 3' system

Im really excited for the lift. Should be good!

I just got them in the mail this afternoon, ill open up the engine bay tomorrow and have a look at everything to see if i can install it myself without breaking too many things. haha

I won't wait for the exhaust system yet as that won't be done until late this year/next year depending on how much work i get.

boost gauge should be a piece of piss.
Just be careful when you pull the rubber hose off the boost control switch or sender (what ever its called) that you dont snap the little plastic pipe on the bottom of it, they are not cheap.
I would slice the hose with a stanley blade first or just cut it down low to add the "T" piece in to run the hose for your gauge.

With the EGT im pretty sure you will need to drill a hole in the dump pipe, then weld on a threaded nipple for the sender to screw into.

Ahhh sounds like a little more work the originally planned.

Well we will see how tomorrow goes with it all!

If i have no idea what I'm doing ill probably just take it to my mechanic (Ferrets 4x4) to do it.

Yeah you will
Need to drill and tap a thread into the dump the fit the probe. If not
Order yourself a dump pipe to get the ball rolling.

Just fitted my boost and pyro gauges. Put a metal plating over it as well. makes it look pretty nice and neat.

Just one thing with the boost, its a little bit glitchy, as in it doesn't rise and fall smoothly.
The start up is nice and smooth, just when driving its jumpy. Any info on this would be nice!
