Difference between 06 d40 navara exhaust and 2012 d40?

Yes there is. Some of the 06 D40 exhausts didn't have a factory DPF. I think it was from late 06 onwards possibly early 07.

Plus there are several different design shapes Nissan had for the D40 exhausts over the years. 3 from memory.
