Anyone know the differences between the YD25 found in the new D22 & the one found in the D40? I am due for a new 4wd soon & originally had plans to upgrade my old D22 ZD30 to the new D40. Seeing as tho the new D22 is a crapload cheaper I was thinking how hard would it be to bring the new D22 engine upto or past the performance of the D40 engine. If it is a simple case of tuning & a different turbo/intercooler I may actually consider just getting another D22 as I love the offroad capabilities of my current 4wd. Has anyone looked into it?
