The blower fan in my D22 (single cab) YD25 is very noisy, which I’ve diagnosed as the bearing failing, after pulling all vegetable matter out.
Question 1: can the bearing be replaced? I’ve pulled the fan apart but am reluctant to go too hard on the body, as it’s 22 year old plastic.
Question 2: I looked online for replacements & just about all sites show the D40 fan motor housing is different to the D22, so I presume they’re not interchangeable? However, those shown for the Patrol look identical to those for the D22. The price is less than 1/2 that of what’s being asked for the D22 fans. So, are they interchangeable?
Question 3: I understand there’s no filter(s) for the blower fan. Is this correct and has anyone come up with something to prevent leaves etc. from getting into the fan?
