D22 winch plate ?

Would like to retain my aloy bar but still fit a winch, anyone done it using a mounting plate across the rails ?

Yep, I've done it. I found a mounting plate off something else and welded some heavy angle on each end and then bolted it to the rails. You cut out the middle three bits in the alloy bar and dummy it up to get the height of the winch so the roller guides fit in the bar. Had to move the thermo fan over and the steering cooler. (2003 zd30). I spun the clutch around so you can reach it through the end slot on the alloy bar.
