What he said.

In my opinion get a stage 2 cam and 2.75" mandrel bent exhaust. The Landcruiser 80Series is a must, the petrol box is to restrictive. Then get a snorkel and see how you go from there.
If your still after more, get a supercharger!

apart from what they ^ said....

Hmmm, yeah, a roots blower would look smick sticking out the bonnet:redcool::tazzy:

Have a look here, I've suggested a few things. Keeping things within reasonable expense moneywise, intake/exhaust/cams are the main things with the 3.0 and 3.3ltr.

Jim Wolf Stage 1 cams, around $600.00 delivered plus the other mods will help the asthmatic V6. Nearly finished my airbox mod, then exhaust will come, cams, who knows when :rofl2:

so when is this airbox going in ray? remember im only a phone call away if you need a hand on an afternoon during the week or sumthing. it doesnt tke long to fit that snorkel either :D

I did a trial fit today and it all looks good. Just have to rip out the plastic air intake above the front wheel as this stops the toyota box sliding in to the hole in the guard properly. A mate is going to take my silicone hose to his workshop and tap a couple of hose barbs in to take the air bypass hoses, as shown in the photo.

I'll have a look at the guard intake tomorrow, and should all be in by next weekend. The snorkel might have to wait a while, I want to put that money towards a new headers/exhaust system.

Its a SAAS pod filter adaptor from supercheap Rusty. Fits perfectly and allows the rest of the pipework to go straight on. Just have to make some mounts for the new airbox, rip out the underguard plastic thing and bolt it up.

Nearly there......Nearly there......
