D22 parallel batteries

Hi guys,

After a bit of reading about my 013 d22 i have leant that the batteries are wired parallel,

The question i have is, does this mean it a 12 or 24 volt system?

12v mate. You can change the wiring and either put a solenoid type isolator or dc - dc charger in and have an auxiliary battery under the bonnet.

Awesome, im thinking of leaving under bonnet as is and putting a third behind rear seat as the aux battery for running all the extras
