D22 neutral safety switch

is it posible to by pass this somhow, had the 3rd and 4th gear problems for a while now and while most of the time i can just hold the stick up in the corner it does get annoying.
is there anyway other then replacing this to just get rid of the switch.

yep you just disconnect it.
if you take out your centre console, then remove the rubber boot on the gear shift you will see the blue plug at the top of the gear box, that's the nps, just unplug it and you're good to go.
there is a thread somewhere that even has pictures.

Thats all i did to my old D22 and didnt have an issue in over 150,000km. the only thing is that your heat switch wont work anymore, but you dont need it anyway. Well i never used it, even when i was down the snow i never needed it.

yea i agree brendan that wheel alignment issue is right royal pain in the arse! and costing me a fortune! i would never own another navara with the problems iv'e had.
