D22 exhaust system

Has anyone stuck a exhaust on a navara d22 str turbo diesel .
I want it to sound a bit more like a diesel a bit louder hear the turbo a bit better I got told straight through 3" exhaust whats your opinions?

I'm putting a 2.5" turbo back on next week, will let you know. I already have a chip and FMIC.

Wouldn't bother going 3" the dump outlet is less than 2.5" so any bigger then that is a waste

I recommend a beaudesert system 2&3/4'' from turbo back
200 cell cat and no muffler
works fine for me

I second that Sparra, i personally wouldnt go a full 3" IMO no point too big for a 2.5.

if you get a custom dump pipe like I did then you wont have that problem..
the original dump is crap anyway so better to relace it..

3" is not to big for a 2.5......... I couldn't be happier with mine and it sounds great, full turbo back system for $1000

Scotts rods in ipswich qld do a 3 inch kit, easy to install and sounds great I got one under my ute (zd30). From memory it was 850 for a straight through system no muff or cat. It is aluminised steel so it keeps its colour and wont rust as easily
