Hi all new member here .I have had my D22 2005 for 12years now and still love it. I am in the process of renewing lots of stuff on it .A question I have before having a tune on it the guy said it would be a good idea to carbon clean all the intake. Does anyone have an opinion on these Hydrogen cleaners ,or should I take the manifold off and do it manually. Thanks for any advice Kevin

The manual clean is not too hard to do, there is a good diy thread on here for the zd30. I cleaned a **** tonne out of mine a few years ago. I haven't heard anything of hydrogen cleaners at all. I have read plenty reviews of different sprays being pretty useless but not necessarily bad

"hydrogen cleaning" sounds like snake oil.
there is a few reputable manufactures that make an egr cleaner.
however one of the cheapest ways is spray water in while engine is running.
