D22 2.5 & D40 2.5 Engine Diff's

Hi iv'e searched the forum and cant seem to find the information im looking for. Im just wondering if the short block is the same in the D22 against the D40. i know the 140kw engine utilises a different head and higher fuel pressures but what about the 126kw version? the turbo's are different but is there anything else?

From what the dealer told me the block is the same but the bolts on are all different to make it fit into the D22
