Hi all,
I don't know much about D21's, but I am learning FAST...
I have been told that the D21 was upgraded in or around 1992, making all the gear that holds the wheels on at the front a little beefier.
My 1990 is a bit tired under there and I have access to an unlicensed 1994 single cab 2.7 Diesel 4wd that hasn't spent much time off-road.
Being that the front of mine has to come to pieces anyway (for a full set of bushes), is it worth swapping them over and for me to use the 1994 bits?
Assume I can get the whole front end for nothing, so cost shouldn't factor in to this at all.
Will the bits fit, or will I be drilling/tapping/fabricating/adapting???
Anyone done it?
I will get out there with a tape measure, but there is nothing like real advice from someone that has really done it already!
Thanks heaps to all that have provided me with so much help!
