Gday all. I was about to purchase a set of Super Pro adjustable UCA's in order to fit a 25mm spacer up front on top of my 2" suspension lift.

Before i fork out the $850, i was wondering, is there any other way to achieve this rather than doing the UCA's??

If your alignment is already good and you still have some adjustment you could try some ball joint spacers.they are in a current thread.....you would need to be confident that you have the adjustment..otherwise its lower/upper (cant remember) bush adjusters aswell as the ext ball joints...thats getting near uca territory..

Superpro is a SPC rebadge also...direct from the states could be worth a look...dollar pending..usps intenational is cheap freight and kwik!! Had mine in under 10 days.

There isnt any way to stop getting coil bucket contact other then to change the UCA's.
You can maybe fix the camber issues with off set caster bushes but it wont be perfect.

"Seldom Seen Engineering" (they did Beno's SAS on his D40) will do an exchange UCA with there moded stock UCA, basically they mill out the whole where the ball joint mounts and install the ball joint back in with a adjustable plate. (if that makes sense)
The only trouble is they wont allow you to gain the extra travel that you will with some of the other arms on the market.

That's not correct. The 35mm longer extended ball joints fix this. Some other guys fitted the 20mm longer ball joints from Ultimate suspension but there not as good as the 35mm from performance suspensions.

Ok guys I have a question too. I currently am running 25mm spacers on stock suspension which now has made positive camber and making the tyres wear incorrectly. What is the best approach new lower offset bushes or extended ball joint? Opinions please

From memory the offset bushes were a expensive little fix and took a bit of labor to fit...not a difficult job but id imagine they would be needed to be done in a shop...ie temp align...work out position of bush....remove lower arms and fit bushes (press fit) refit and hope to god they are in where they are ment to be..then realign wheels... ..for a handy bloke like you 4BYFOR not hard but PITA if you dont have a wheel aligning setup.im sure it was about a $400 job....what happens when you need more adjustment when the wife bounces it of a few kurbs?

I'll be getting new suspension this year sometime and removing the spacers but I may still have the same camber issue.. So I been reading on the extended ball joints which seem a lot easier to fit then the bushes.. But will it fix the camber issue I have now

If you want to run extended ball joints then go for it, but i wouldnt trust them at all, and if you talk to Brendan (the owner) at Ultimate he will tell you they no longer sell them.

Ball joints wont fix camber only stop uca contact. bushes would still be needed but unless you do it yourself, its cheaper and better result to get adjustable ucas as bushes and ball joints eventually wear out. Sometimes you need both upper and lower bushes if its out a fair bit.
