"While talking to the media, Ghosn announced the return of the Datsun brand, Nissan's third global brand, alongside Nissan and Infiniti," the statement read. "Datsun will provide sustainable motoring experience to optimistic up-and-coming customers in high-growth markets. Datsun represents 80 years of accumulated Japanese car making expertise and is an important part of Nissan's DNA."

I used to like my Datsun Sunny, the front end rusted away on it but it was a good little buzz box. Nissan spare parts killed me though, $50 for a rear quarter panel plastic badge.

Nissan are also suppose to be bringing back the Pulsar name this year after admitting getting rid of it was a huge mistake for the company.

Excellent. Imagine getting around this this: at least it's green.

Haha my N14 SSS was an absoloute beast, i loved that car. then i bought a holden... biggest mistake ever. But now i have a nissan again, in the end a Win!

My first car was 180B SSS. The triple SU's were hard to tune, but once we whacked a webber on it the dam thing flew - awesome rally beast!

I got my Sunny up to 140kph without the doors falling off once, for a little elastic band engine it used to go well, but I did have it fully reco'd the week I brought it home. I had 4 driving lights, 3 CB's and an $800 (20 year ago prices) Pioneer sound system in the little rocket, if the front end hadn't rusted out I probably would have kept it, but I needed something to drive not leave in the yard and never get around to fixing.
