Best material for Led light bar lamp lens

Hi all,

Looking at buying a couple of LED light bars and was wondering what the best lamp lens material is?

The glass that covers the LED's

Some are glass,some are lexan and some perspex
they all vary

use whatever is clear enough, doesn't break and you can afford.
btw thats not the lens, the len fits on to the led itself and is very precisely made.
