hey everyone im new to this site. hello to all.

ive just bought a 2001 d22 navara 3.2 diesel and love it. and was wondering if anyone had a bit of info on putting a td27t on it. does it matter what year terrano i get the turbo off(preferably the newest model). also will my inlet manifold work or will a have to get another?????

Hello.

I'm trying to do it right now. So far four of the eight exhaust manifold studs are too short, not a big deal but I haven't tried to track down longer ones yet.

I don't think it matters what year you get the turbo "kit" from provided you get the boost and fuel delivery properly tuned, Terrano IIs were electronically fuel delivery controlled and fitted with an intercooler, but the turbo and manifold shouldn't be an issue.

Expect to pay a fair bit for the parts though, unless you know somebody.

Your inlet manifold should work, just replace the black plastic hose on top of the rocker cover with silicone bends and metal pipe and plumb the PCV in pre-turbo. Looks like the exhaust pipe might bolt up but no promises.
