Battery Under Bonnet

Hey Guys, just seeing if anyone has successfully fitted a Auxiliary Battery under the bonnet of the D40 yet?

Im running a k&n apollo pod filter and i was hoping to fit my air compressor in there...but no dice..just not enough room..but u could fit a old vk commodore size battery in that spot

i have allso installed a kn apollo filter so i could fit a battery there but its tight. Does the new batteri have to have the same amp strength as the main batteri?

Dont think they need to match.you just need a 12v battery and a battery isolator and your good to go.

Cheers camo, I'm planning on putting a k&n filter in myself. Did you have to modify much to put the k&n filter in?

I chopped the airbox lid off and sikaflexed the tubes back together.k&n fitted straight up to that then all bolted to the snorkle .

Nice job man. Cheers for the pic. I'm guna try to put Two elbows on either ends to see if it'll push it back a little more to get some more room.
