Hi guys anyone know what automatic transmission fluid to put in my d40 there is mixed reports on Web and can't get workshop manual also how much does the gearbox take in lts please

Do you have the 5-speed or the 7-speed box?

If you're doing a complete drain to remove contaminants, don't forget there's an oil cooler built into the radiator separate hoses, of course).

If just draining the pan, my 5 speed 2010 D40 takes 4 litres. I have measured what comes out each time so that I can refill with the same quantity.
The brand that I use won't be available in your neck of the woods.
