Auto trans for D22?

Looks like I can possibly use the Patrol auto after all. D22's use FS5R30A trans with TX10A transfer.
From my research all Patrols use RE4R03A auto with TX12A transfer, except the RD28/RB30 which has the same FS5R30A 5 speed as the D22, together with the TX12. Therefore, the two transfer cases must be interchangeable and a TX10A will bolt up to a Patrol auto putting the output on the correct side.

Not sure I'll go through with it, just planning at this stage. Lot of effort for an old ute.
The other option is to put the Nav body on patrol chassis, using my engine with patrol gearbox and transfer. Bonus with this is that I'd get SAS and coil.
