just bought a lightbar for the roof, anyone know a cheap (but obviously not crap) auto electrician on the Gold Coast. just got quoted $250 which i thought was way to expensive. Cheers

you can do it yourself. fused relay kits are like $15-20 from supercheap. will take you about 2-3 hours and a bit longer if you want to it nicely with conduit and soldering, heat shrink, etc.
$250 is expensive, but labour wise it's probably about right.
