Alloy or steel roof top rack/baskets??

Hi guys I am interested in your thoughts on pros and cons of steel vs alloy roof top racks. Thinking of getting one for my GU patrol, not for a tent but just for some extra storage on trips away. Cheers

Steel, possibly stronger. Easier to repair or modify yourself.

Aluminium, light and wont rust.

Id strongly consider aluminium next time round.
