Aircon wont turn off - D22

Hey guys posted up before but no one could help..

It seems my aircon will not switch off, it continuously switches on and off. I will leave the switch on and the fan switch off and the AC light is still slightly illuminated. After idling for a while it will idle up and down maybe 100 times in a minute aswell. i ended up unplugging the air con at the compressor and it still idles up as if the compressor is running as well.. any ideas

I'd suspect either a faulty fan switch, resistor pack or AC relay (most likely).

As tony said. I would think air con switch or relay. The ECU thinks the air con is still on, that would explain the idle up. Most Auto electricians deal with air con also so you could kill two bird with one stone. The only other thing you could try is to pop the switch out and unplug the back of it and see if it stops. If that doesn't work then try unplugging the relay or pull the air con fuse and see what that does.
