Drove up to the Gold Coast last week. Notice a slight nocking on left side, more so when I was passenger. While my wife was driving. It was getting worse during the week, more so Turning right. Tried jacking it up, when I got to Surface. But couldn't undo wheel nuts because of the couldn't wheel brace wouldn't fit over the nuts because the insert holes on the 20" alloy rims weren't large enough to fit the wheel brace. So I had to buy a X bar wheel brace. Does anyone think it is the left CV Joint?:deadhorse:

Its more likely the lower shock mount , those bushes flog out and will make a knocking noise

Hey mate not sure what it is but I would try the following..
A ) Lift front end up off the ground and secure it with jack stands.
B) take both wheels off
C) spin both hubs, lift the suspention up and down and turn both directions each side..

Worth a go mate see if you can hear the sound anywhere.. good luck and hope you find the problem

Peddlers still offer a safety check for bout $20
Let them diagnose it then fix it yourself
