2013 D22 STR tail gate sealing

Hi everyone,
I am very new to Navaras and just started on my new D22 STR.
So far so good and nice to drive about 100ks per day.
25ks of that is on a dirt road so I am looking for some advice on how to seal the tailgate to help prevent dust.
A lot of search resulted in D40 seals but not much on D22. Any ideas and photos would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Peter,
You will never seal it 100% remember it is a ute. The best you can do is the self adhesive tape preferably rubber and not foam as it will last longer. If you have a canopy vents are available to reduce the air pressure that sucks in the dust.

I realize it is a ute and just looking to cut down the big gaps to reduce the dust to eliminate it.
I did have a look at sealing the sides and bottom but not sure how to do it.
Looking at it I am not sure If i need to add some flat bar on the side so the tailgate comes up to that and then add some rubber to seal on the face of the tail gate.
Maybe a trip to the rubber man might help.

After you seal it at night pop a floodlight in there and you should see anywhere that still has a gap.

I have travelled extensively through WA's corrugated dusty roads and and got hardly any dust. Happy john is on the money ! I have a closable vent scoop in the top of my canopy which creates POSITIVE pressure inside the canopy, Airflow comes in the scoop and out the gaps in tailgate. We originally got it for the dog so it didn't cark it coming home from the beach in summer. But now just keeps things cool and dry in there
