2012 Japan Built ST-R

[Dane ST-R Black]

Hey Guys,

Working currently as a sales consultant for new Nissan's.
They have now moved the D22 ST-R's back to Japan Built. Thailand pre 2012
They have not changed much other than deleting the second battery.
They also come with a black sports bar similar to the D40 550.
Thought i would get one to go fishing in because they are great cars.
I have made it all black to go with the Sports bar theme.
On the car also got some MT Baja MTZ, Steel BB, Lightforce's, Snorkel etc...
As soon as i have the rear chrome step stripped and painted black ill get some photo's up.

Exactly the same as Thai builds just black bars and one battery.
Pop into Nissan and take one fir a roady

well thats a let down lol, still i reckon the black bar would look pretty cool, on that note, do they still build the 3 litre model? havent seen any since the 06 ish

So it was more cost effective to design, build, test and mass produced a new engine, rather than just keep with the 3.0L?

the 2.5 was allready made....by Renault...i believe.

in actual fact the 2012 Jap models are still 2011 nov / Dec build's plates but with 2012 Oz compliance plate.

Pity about the removal of the 2nd battery and the polished ally bar....cost cutting and they call it a "special edition"
