Hi all, new to the forum and recently bought my 2010 navara d40, 123:000ks, my question is my top radiator hose has always pressure in it, once a it's run all day I understand that there defiantly will be pressure and pipe will be solid but if I leave it over night the pressure doesn't go, it's not as hard but is always there, my radiator and reserve bottle have sealed caps on them aswell, radiator with no spring and reserve with a spring. Is this normal? I recently had the timing chain done and mech that done it had them the other way around which courses a airlock and a cracked head so I also have a new head and I never noticed the radiator pipe, (lucky it was all under warranty). Am I being paranoid or its all good? Thanks jimmy

OK, I've got a 2013 Thai built that has never had any cooling system issues, had a squeeze of the radiator top pipe after it's been standing all night, I can fully close squeeze the pipe with 2 fingers, but it's not easy, if yours has serious pressure, then there is definitely something weird happening.

Radiator cap has no spring, reservoir tank has a spring on mine.
