Hey guys have had a few issues with the centre bearing chewing out in less than 2 months of replacing the car has been lifted not sure how much as I only just brought it but any help would be greatly appreciated cheers

I lifted my QD d22 and within a couple of months the CB was flogged out. When i replaced it i noticed the rear part of the driveshaft was pulling the CB toward the rear of the car, after the lift the diff was sitting further away.

this is pretty common, patrols owners can buy a tailshaft spacer etc...but there is not alot out there for navs.
being the qd nav, your lucky, they use the same rear diff h233b as the patrols. to be exact its the same as the front of a GQ patrol...so you could probably use one of their spacers.

myself, i had my mates GQ around so i took some measurements..then stole his front driveshaft. the GQ driveshafts have a center spline so it can be smaller, or longer with flex. at full length its around 5cm longer than the rear d22 shaft. I took a guess that it would fit and it bolted up fine...with a few cm to spare.

since then ive not had an issue.
just means the spline needs to be greased, so add it to your normaling greasing intervills.

on the other side of the fence
my mate with a qd d22 lifted his the same, never had an issue with the center bearing..so, yeah strange
