06 D22 Auto tranny?

I have done a search on the forum to no avail.
So I will just ask.
Does anyone know if there is an automatic transmission that will fit my 06 STR with the 3.0 TD?
If so where can I locate one?

I'm sure Dave or Dion will have a somewhat more 'detuned' answer for you.

Try a importer for a JDM R50 Pathfinder auto. They got auto ZD30's, the Patrol auto would be to much stuffing around.

You can always use the AWD transfer off the R50 to.

This was plan "A" but unfortunatly swmbo nixed it 2.5 milliseconds after she heard it. Something about not made of money and in my dreams???

The bellhousings for the nissan autos are beautifully interchangeable. Patrol ZD30 stuff would be most useful for a source of a computer and bellhousing, unless you can find the Pathfinder import stuff Dave was talking about. However the pathfinder transmission is correctly sized and the patrol transmission would be a bit big... Both physically and from a torque capacity point of view. But the computer would still operate the trans appropriately. Or you can go computer less, and shift gears yourself.
