HI, any body know the location of the spill valve on the `03 navara zd30 ? for some reason i just cant find any info on it ..

ok nissan still calls it a spill valve.
its on the back of the injection pump inbetween the injection pipes.
im not sure if you can replace it without pulling the pump apart. also it could be a circuit board fault. you may need to remove the whole pump and get it checked. also its a good time to get it recalibrate.
theres a few tricks to removing them.

Type "vp44 service manual " into google and look for a pdf.

First thing i'd do is make sure the pump isn't sucking air. as it's compressable and will throw the timing out. Bad fuel will kill a vp44 but they're not prone to mechanical failure unless you try to get to much fuel out of them. The most common problem is the electronics on top failing but that usually means a dead car
 
old mate musnt be happy with the replys he got . he has asked the same question on exploroz.
