£700 for calipers?? wtf..

Nissan have just quoted me £288+vat @ 20% per side for new front calipers for my d21. Local auto parts store says after-market carriers aren't made ( don't know if true ) and Nissan don't do the sliders seperately. My sliders have siezed so could do with replacing the carrier assembly. Is there anything else that's compatible ie. Calipers from the Terrano?

Mine is a 96 Double cab lab.
