My misses has an X Trail with the CVT auto, what a piece of crap that is.. They just rev their ringer out all of the time. I would never get one again.
I ran an earth from the tub to the cabin body.
I still ran dual cables from the main battery to the 2nd battery. I just like everything to be earthed as one..
I'm in Wallan... Nice and close to Mt Dissapointment.
Also, Krafty,
I have purchased a few electrical components from autoelecau (Ctek dcdc charger, wiring, etc) and have never had a problem with them so far.
I just got mine back after a service and have been advised the chassis is cracked. I have to rebook it so it can go to an engineer to be welded. Not really too impressed. I haven't really pulled any serious weights. It just seems to be the luck of the draw.
Hey Cobez, check that your diff breather isn't blocked. I have found that mine blocks up sometimes when 4WDing and the tell tale is the pinion seal sweats. The top of the breather should be loose. If it's tight, just twist it a few times to loosen it up. I am about to fit extended breathers to...

I bought a second hand clutch kit from eBay off a guy who had it on his Navara but couldn't stand the vibration through the driveline. I had the SM Flywheel machined and then bought a Sports Tuff clutch kit for the SMF. Was a long task but all up cost me $1100 so I saved about $400 or so. The...
I just fitted a SMF exedy sports tuff clutch. It has been in for a week now and done about 500klms and some 4wding and just love it. No vibration, everything feels great. Can't be happier with it and would recommend it to anyone.
I had the same issue after a 4wd trip in some thick mud. It would do it more when it got hot so I took it to Nissan, and what would you know, it wouldn't do it. They tried to tell me it was due to the clutch wearing out..
Next day it was still sticking so I pulled apart the centre console and...
I would imagine if your oil is low on the stick and you were on a hill when it happened, the sensor is likely working correctly. I would top up the oil..
The low oil light came on for me once.. But it was after giving the engine bay a good wash so I figured it was water in the sensor. I still...
