    Handbrake cable removal D22 Navara

    Probably could take it to one of the guys that makes cables. They may make one. When I went through this earlier this year the handbrake lever & cable are one part in Nissan's parts diagram. The part is no longer (if ever) available from Nissan so I bought 2nd hand for now.

    Thanks for the update. What vehicle is the QD in? Looks like the injector pump is from a TD27 non turbo engine. Likely then the turbo has been added at some point to your engine.

    Brake Activates Ignition

    Possibly the +12v charging circuit for the breakaway brakes is from an ignition feed & somehow (probably trailer socket) there's are short between brake wire & that said +12v feed.
