This may be caused by a blocked Cat -I had a similar issue some years ago on a petrol 4x4 of a different brand and it ended up being a bad O2 sensor which stuffed the cat. Not saying this is your issue but I had the same with the passenger floor becoming very hot
I agree the odometer on my 2013 d40 is out quite a bit. Using the Waze app when I reach 100 kms/hr the odometer says 108 when on cruise control and 117 when I am actually doing 110 kms
Change the alternator pully I had this same condition and eventually the pully broke off. Needed a new alternator as it destroyed the connection to the alternator.
Looking to replace my tonneau, on my 2013 nav with sports bar, any recommendations ? as there are a number of after market suppliers but I would like it clip straight into the current rails anyone with experience of this
I had an overheating problem years ago like this on a car - not a Nissan - the clutch fan was the type you cannot recharge but 4 strategically placed tech screws turned it into a fixed fan - never overheated again but did take a while to warm up lol
No I did not want to stop and take the chance of a flat battery, I watched the temp gauge and continued as it did not rise. Battery was flat when I got home
It ended up that the mechanic had to replace the alternator as the shaft was flogged out. I was able to drive for some time as the serpentine belt had enough tension around the water pump even though the alternator pully was gone, the mechanic said I was just lucky the belt did not throw off

Thanks for accepting me to the group. I bought a D40 new in 2013 and it has not let me down since. even though I was told by a so called expert they had issues.
