Just a question---when I first start the D22 in the morning and start to drive it it makes a rattle like sound as idrive through the gears ie engine or engine ancilliaries but when warmed up fine--no loss of power or any engine miss???? :confused2:

how effective is the standard fuel filter on the D22 2.5 diesel? After purchase I have been told of all the faults and failures---mainly by the armchair mechanics -----BUT one rang true that the engine failures that this fellow had seen were based on bad fuel--dirty or water contamination---to...

The reason for the snorkel is to lift the air intake from the wheel arch to cleaner air a previously owned vehicle had the air intake in the wheel arch and after a day on the dirt the filter would be chockers:deadhorse2:

Just putting the first 1000k on the nav D22 and noticing not much low down when starting off does this improve with the engine run in or do I need to do some work on this ----I remapped a previous vehicle and noticed a bit more down low. The remapping was expensive and did cause other problems...
