Our auto elect is stumped. Cannot find cause of battery draining and thinks it might be BCM. Already spent heaps with timing chain disaster (2007 D40)so was looking to buy $200 second hand BCM to see if this fixed the problem. Is it simply a matter of unplugging current one and replacing...

That's everyone The fuse was gone, there seems to be no problem with the earth bit we still haven't got the tail lights working???

Problem with both tail lights on our 2007 stx d40. We had a steel tray installed last year and have had to replace the rear lights due to water getting in( supposedly waterproof seals!) Also dash lights haven't worked for ages, not sure if this is related or not.

Aircon/fan does not work on first three settings? Any ideas before we go to auto electrician? Thanks

Thanks for the tips, the guys found it today. Now thermostat not working, they think been sitting too long, taken few months part time to fix engine!

need help identifying this part. last bit left over from timing chain repair. Looks like it has hoses connected ?air, doesnt look like it carried oil. Thanks

HELP?? have a 2006 D40 that has suffered catastrophic timing chain fault. At stage of removing engine from auto transmission and Dad is stuck??? Told him i would join forum as we had success removing crankshaft pulley bolt from a members posting. Please any info would be much appreciated.
