Ummm . . . okay I ran the spanners over all the underbonnet nuts, bolts and fasteners whilst I was under there and nipped a couple that weren't quite up to the recommended torque values - one of them may or may not have been on the turbo. (How's that mate?)

Guys, My 2006 D22 ZD30 has just started to make a strange noise that definitely wasn't there previously. When accelerating in each gear I'm hearing a 'whooshing' or 'hissing' type exhaust noise just as it's coming on boost. I'm not getting any noise increase similar to what ordinarily occurs...

That's something that I've always wondered about with my '06 ZD30 D22 - it doesn't seem to make the whistle sound so common to other turbo diesels. Cheers, Russ

Thanks Dr13b, I particularly want to use the STR seats to avoid any legality issues. I just don't want to buy a set only to find out that it's not a 'bolt in' conversion. Cheers though mate and thanks for responding. I bet your new seats are a wee bit more comfortable than the original bench eh?
