Dave I did you try the unit with the original settings. It may have worked. The wiring i set up as shown in my pics was because my unit operated as you discussed above on the original wiring setup. ie the cruise came on when one of the audio buttons was pressed. And the horn did not work...

Just an update. I have been using the cruise for the last week or so and i can not fault it.

If it comes on when you are travelling you can get about 25-30km give or take. But if you stop and leave the vehical overnight dont be supprised if it wont go in the morning. The fuel settles and it wont start.
