Its always possible to have a dud.. was the original fault code removed correctly?

If You have 17s you'll more then likely be able to go to the 16s with the correct offset and stud pattern.. if you have 16s then - well - 16 inch sunnies will also fit.. with the correct pattern and offset again?

@Been a while Glad I too had a simple fix.. after checking the fusing and relays and removing the grill i spotted a tiny little broken wire- seems the wiring bundle wasnt supported- crimped and taped on a new blade terminal and good to go again

Not sure about "oil stains" on the MAF.. im thinking that would be a bit concerning.. Remember when cleaning that guy, NEVER touch the hair thin wiring inside with anything other than the cleaner.. Maybe time for a new one along with a new air filter? check your airbox seals and clips...
