Wide bore tolerances in modern engines are commonplace, it is done to reduce friction and so improve economy.
This does increase crankcase pressures and oil consumption, some of those German cars use up to 1 litre per thousand Ks.
I'm not sure why you would remove the oil cap with the engine...
One thing to consider on coolant temperatures is the percentage of anti-freeze.
Anti-freeze is much worse than water at temperature transfer.
So it would be advisable to make sure you have the right percentage of anti-freeze for the minimum temperature where you live.
It depends on where you are. Whilst all the V9x models rolled off the same production line in Spain (now shut down), the European market received a full dpf with a seventh injector etc.
In markets where Euro 5 emissions were not required a more basic type as you describe was fitted.
There is one relay for high beam and one relay for low beam.
After each relay there is a fuse for right and left, so two relays and four fuses in total.
I think there is something else going on as LEDs take less current than halogens.
LEDs, unlike halogens, are sensitive to voltage drops, so...
Here's an interesting article on EGR's. I think it is petrol focused, but there seems to be a lot going on!

Not 100% sure I've sorted it though!
Yes, some kind of air flow monitor similar to a MAF that outputs air flow rates in the form of resistance. The ECU then does some comparisons to see if the values are within tolerance.
I don't think this is a Nissan pinout, but it shows the principles nicely.
In my case the air intake hose was very loose, so I hope that sorted my problem
Another thing to consider, the egr valve is closed on starting and above 1,000 rpm. So unless you leave the engine idling or drive a lot in slow moving traffic, you really don't need to do anything.
I had a look at mine, 250k Kms, no soot build up.
Then I would suggest that the lower wishbone eccentric bolts need adjusting to correct the camber and caster angles.
You can buy a digital camber gauge fairly cheaply, worth getting one as well as a Y bar to mount the gauge on the wheel.
In my experience, driving sometimes in a RHD country and sometimes in a LHD country, the steering always pulls towards the kerb.
My conclusion is that the D,40 is very sensitive to road camber.
If money is tight then replace the bushes....
Steps are
Buy a polybush set. (Much easier to put in than original type.)
Remove the wishbones ( plenty of swearing involved)
Burn out the old bushes with a decent blowtorch. If you can find someone with an oxy acetylene it will be much easier...
You already have a transmission cooler radiator, it is in front of the normal radiator so gets good airflow.
The ATF circuit also runs through the engine cooling radiator (it helps keep the ATF temperature between 90 and 95)
It would be a good move to take off the grille and make sure the ATF...
Agree, virtually impossible for all cylinders to be down equally on compression.
It sounds like the mechanic is either some sort of cowboy or incompetent.
It is a common issue that poorly trained mechanics cross thread sump plugs (and more commonly spark plugs)
A wrap of PTFE tape will get around it.
A more robust solution is to repair the thread with a helicoil or similar.
Personally I would request the dealership carried out the repair on the...
