Let it run for a bit and re-tighten the belts, to me that usually shows signs that it's not getting enough charge and the battery is giving way. It's been great watching your journey. Well done

Serious question for you all, are there any Hybrid diesels? I remember watching an in-depth break down of the most efficient cars when it came to pollution from end to end, as in manufacturing to driving. Hybrid is the clear winner, it is more efficient and less damaging than all electric.

What happens when you short the starter with the reds on? does it crank? Place a screwdriver between the positive and the signal wire to short it. Checking the starter motor itself would be the first place I'd start

This is all making me very antsy about doing my timing chains. It doesn't make any rattles or noises on startup, serviced every 10k, even has full Nissan service history up until a year ago and it's at 250k... Even with all of this above, others still have issues with it snapping.

The factory head unit has more than enough power in it. I will add though, I replaced mine with an Android head unit and the sound quality difference was VERY noticeable from the stock stereo (way better from the Android))
