It is inside the rocker cover. I think you might find it is integrated as part of the rocker cover. There is a picture in the manual of the rocker cover.

At the rear of the motor underneath the intercooler. You will see a hose come out of the rocker cover and go down to the turbo. About 25mm diameter. You can see it just from the passenger side of the motor.

They have a PCV Valve, I don't know if you can replace then though. If it is blocked you might be able to clear it. Other than that I would look at a wreckers if it does need to be replaced.

Did this today as well. It takes a while and didn't notice any great difference in the sound and running of the motor. it's a very easy job just takes a while.

I have an inspection camera so will have a look. Can it be cleaned? Would carby cleaner sprayed into possibly move/devolve the gunk.

I have just fitted a Provent 200 to my D22 YD25. had it on about a week and thought I would check the filter out of curiosity. Bone dry. So run the motor and nothing coming out of the PCV in the rocker cover. The valve looks like a non replaceable as it look integrated with the rocker cover...

An update to my issue I replaced the radio and gave it its own earth point on the frame in the dash. No more blown fuses so far touch wood.

I am replacing the stereo anyway so I will do that in the next few days. It is something that happens only occasionally. Thanks for getting back to me john

Edit. Was going to respond but noticed that you have a D40. I would have thought they have meatal gaskets that you can copy.

You can buy replacements. It is more than likely corroded. Get a test light and check that it is getting power at the back of the lighter If it is then you know what the issue is. Check the fuse as well. They may look ok but sometimes they just crap out.

Where does everyone run the harness through the firewall. I have a 2012 D22 and there is no where that I can see to run the harness through. I don't want to drill a hole if I can help it.. Thanks
